He specialises in Family and Child Care. Huw has worked in this area of law since qualification and has over 30 years’ experience. As well as family law Huw deals in other areas including Crime, Wills and Conveyancing. Huw is Head of the Family Department and is appointed to the Law Society’s Accredited Children’s Scheme. He is also appointed as a Family Law Supervisor for the purposes of the firm’s Legal Aid Contract.

She has worked in this specialist area since qualification. Anna qualified as a Solicitor in 1991; completing her training and working in London. She joined Humfrys and Symonds in 2004 and became a Director in 2016. Anna is appointed to the Law Society’s Accredited Family Scheme and Accredited Children’s Scheme. Anna is appointed by the SRA as Humfrys & Symonds Training Principal and appointed as a Family Law Supervisor for the purposes of the firm’s Legal Aid Contract.

Her practice covers all aspects of family work, including divorce or civil partnership dissolution, and financial settlement (whether high net worth or middle-income families), domestic violence and injunctions, and public and private law Children Act work and disputes between unmarried partners. Bev believes in simplifying legal language and procedures for her clients and making the law accessible for all. Together with her partner, Bev works and lives on a Worcestershire farm and has strong ties with the agricultural community.
